Does anyone know of any real, non-scam work at home opportunities, seems they are all scams!

fitzpitz started this conversation

I am searching for work at home opportunities as well. Everything that I run into are scams and more scams. I have not been able to find work in almost two years now which is so hard for me as I have NEVER had this problem before in my entire life. I used to look like I wanted to get hired and get hired on the spot. If anyone has any help in this area, please let me know. Thanks.

I to wish that there was a work at home job. I want to be able to work at home and be with my kids. I have tried a lot to and it seems that when you find something it always cost you something. I just do have the extra to be able to pay out.

I also wish that I could be able to get a grant to be able to start a small business in my home town. There is nothing much her anymore I think we need something. But all start up is just so high anymore.

Money is something we all want, unfortunately it's more of a need to a majority. The needest fall victim to conartists playing on the emotions of those who have no choice but to turn to the fast money making scheme. First they are unaware of what those may be.

It is good ones here and bad ones, with any business it is your own discretion especially if you have to pay. I would be very leary of online ones with no real product, After all isn't that what a business is,either have product or service. Sadly to say alot of online businesses sound too good to be true.

I have noticed marketers since I have marketed myself, marketers trying to cross sell me. It is so frustrating! if these businesses were real they'd see why my service is important right? but online there is alot of other marketers. Mainly affiliate marketers. You can actually sign up for free and market and promote products. Just last year I had marketed for 3 companies mainly and a few other small GPT sites and Paid social networking site. I must say that there are some who actually make money. The one company I didn't feel that good about was the one requiring you earn so much per month to keep membership or something like that. I actually bought my own product. It had a variety of products and services from health to credit cards, music downloads e.t.c. I had to manage affiliates as well. The affiliates never did anything.

That particular business may say sign up for free but you will pay to stay.   The second business was a good paying one. But it could be hard too. Considered this would be more interactive with clients than the first. It involved PR,I marketed for a Public Relations firm,I still hold it in the back burner for now. So I won't say anything bad. Just needed some software to make it effective and get my 1800 number back. One day I will be ready to roll.

The current is also one I was doing back then only that I was focusing on building the other two. This business is in telecommunications and is legit. You have to work this business build it. Use what they give you but it's up to you. I participate in the forums alot and see other agents are really proffessional agents for the company. They have companies that market the products and services. Websites from the company and their own. It is one business I am excited about. I am a telecom consultant,I inform clients or customers on all our offers. Most of the agents even do bill audits. They that market offline seem to be doing well.

I plan on gathering all my links, reactivate accounts, check up on things I really haven't spent a great deal of time on. I have a list of online jobs as well. Real Jobs doing customer service these are more legit than some of the data entry. These jobs will require a computer, headset w/noise canceling microphone,a quiet house....which is not a reality for me now.lol But I do know they are real!

I know many people are looking for home-based jobs.  I was lucky enough to work from home when I was in the corporate world.  My mom also worked from home with mail order companies and those money mailer companies.  I have checked out many work-from-home offers and yes, many of them are scams.  I thought ODesk was promising but they wanted me to download a lot of software and my hubby gets mad when I do that so I haven't actually signed up with them yet - although it is free to get started, fyi.  Western At Home also seemed legit but they are not hiring in my area so I can't vouch for them.  I write articles for Associated Content - it's free to get started.

I run a home-based business with AmeriPlan.  I pay them monthly for my websites and for the services of a customer support 800 number, but the fee is a tax deduction and much less than I would pay in an actual brick-and-mortar business.  The work is rewarding - I help people save money on health care!  I wokr on commission and also get residual income.  I'm happy to answer any questions you have about our company.

Best wishes, Rosie
